New Kruger Cliffs website video by Roaming Media

It’s the ideal spot for travellers, where single, couples or families, who want a place of privacy and relaxation within the Kruger region of Limpopo. It’s a short drive to the picturesque Panorama Route, which includes the Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourkes Luck Potholes and many more breathtaking scenes. Orpen Gate, one of the entrances to the Kruger National Park is also within very close quarters too this self-catering lodge.

With the green season upon us, and the bush looking lush and lively, Roaming Media teamed up with African Retreats to shoot a new video for the Kruger Cliffs website.

This included an awesome excursion up to the top of Mariepskop – an oasis in the heavens – decked out with grey boulders and species of protea – it’s almost like stepping into the Cape. Bring in the magic of the clouds and you’ve got a highlight of this area that can’t be missed. The road up to the peak has several paths diverting off from it, these explore the steep mountainsides, which are covered in dense, mossy ancient forest. The afromontane forest is full of Yellowwood trees and sprawling ferns. Samongo Monkeys can be spotted while the haunting cry of the Turacos echoes between the giant trees.

An exciting day of exploration – followed by a braai on the deck of the Kruger Cliffs Lodge. Watching the sun fall out of the sky and land somewhere far behind the mountains.

We’re happy with the way there video turned out! Thanks to our friends at African Retreats and Kruger Cliffs for having us!
